Mission
CPR in the Hood is committed to equipping communities with life-saving skills through adaptive and inclusive CPR and Stop the Bleed training. Our mission is to ensure that every child and young adult including those on the autism spectrum has access to the knowledge and confidence needed to respond in emergencies.
Program Overview
In partnership with Autism Axis Network, CPR in the Hood delivers hands-on, engaging CPR and Stop the Bleed workshops designed specifically with accessibility and inclusion in mind. These sessions are modified to meet the learning styles and sensory needs of participants on the spectrum, making life-saving education practical, approachable, and empowering.

Who It’s For
Children and young adults, especially those on the autism spectrum, who can benefit from an inclusive and adaptive approach to CPR and emergency training. Families, caregivers, and peers are also encouraged to join.
Where It’s Offered
Workshops are offered in partnership with Autism Axis Network and community spaces across Chicago, bringing accessible CPR education directly to the neighborhoods where it’s most needed.
